Scope:
This policy applies to anyone who has the status of accepted student.
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to provide parameters to the academic classification of all accepted students.
Policy:
This policy outlines the criteria for academic classification or level. Academic levels are based on the number of credit hours earned from AHU and accepted transferred credit hours.

|---|---|
| Freshman | 1-31 |
| Sophomore | 32-62 |
| Junior | 63-93 |
| Senior | 94 or more |
| Graduate | Accepted to a graduate degree program |

Definition(s):
Accepted student- Anyone who has applied to and have been accepted to AdventHealth University for the purpose of taking classes.
Academic classification or level- The various academic levels recognized by AdventHealth University, including, but not limited to, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Graduate.
