Scope: 

All undergraduate student academic achievements.

Purpose: 

To provide definition and clarity to three categories of academic achievement: Academic Honors, Dean’s List, and President’s List for all undergraduate students at AHU.

Policy: 

Undergraduate students who meet minimum credit hour completion and GPA requirements will be recognized in one of three academic achievement categories by the University.

 

Definition(s): 

Updated for Fall 2023 (9/5/2023):

Honor’s List is defined as any undergraduate student who completes a minimum of 12 hours of college-level work (Pass/Fail courses included) and has a trimester GPA of 3.00-3.49 with no grades of incompletes or deferred grades.

Dean’s List is defined as any undergraduate student who completes a minimum of 12 hours of college-level work (Pass/Fail courses included) and has a trimester GPA of 3.50-3.99 with no grades of incompletes or deferred grades.

President’s List is defined as any undergraduate student who completes a minimum of 12 hours of college-level work (Pass/Fail courses included) and has a trimester GPA of 4.00 and no grades of incompletes or deferred grades.

 

Prior to the Fall 2023 update, grades for Honor's List and Dean's List could be no lower than a "B."
