Scope:

All clinical programs requiring a level two background check.

Purpose:

To ensure all level two background checks are appropriately managed, vetted and understood by the program chair (or their designee(s)) and the Office of Student Affairs.

Policy:

All AHU students must submit to a level two background check if required by their program and/or place of clinical practice.

Definition(s):

Level Two – Background check requiring fingerprinting and in-depth search of State and Federal databases.
