Medicine Disbursement to Employees Policy
All AdventHealth University employees (faculty, staff, adjunct faculty, contract workers and student workers).
Provide guidance for over-the-counter medicine requests made by employees to other employees and mitigate risk to employees and the University.
AdventHealth University will not provide or distribute any over-the-counter medications to employees. Over-the-counter and prescription medication may be brought to work and kept under the control of the individual employee. It is not acceptable to share any medication with co-workers, students or guests, including over-the-counter medications. Prescription medication must be current and prescribed by a healthcare professional. Any medication taken by the employee must not interfere with the ability to safely perform job duties.
