Any incident that occurs on AHU property or AHU sanctioned event.


To ensure proper documentation of all incidents on AHU properties or at sanctioned events.


AHU employees and students are required to report all incidents that occur at AHU or sanctioned events.
The procedures for the Incident Policy are as follows:

If an AHU employee or student is personally involved in, witnesses or renders assistance with a medical, accidental, behavioral or environmental incident, the following steps must be accomplished:

  1. Fill out the AHU incident report form within 24 hours of the incident and submit it to the office of the Dean of Students.
  2. When an employee is personally injured on the job, the incident is required to be reported to AdventHealth within 24 hours of the incident. To report go to the HUB, QuickLinks, then Workplace Injury Event. This is in addition to the AHU incident report form.
