The ACT Residual is a nationally administered, standardized paper-and-pencil test that helps colleges evalulate candidates.  AdventHealth University (AHU) uses the ACT to evaluate prospective students for class placement.  An ACT or SAT score is required for admission to AHU professional programs.  AHU offers the ACT Residual for student prospects and applicants looking to enroll to the University, but have not taken the ACT/SAT in order to satisfy admission requirements.  The ACT Residual is offered at the Orlando campus for a fee of $55.00.

Click the blue button below to register for the test.  Scroll down further to view the 'Frequently Asked Questions' for more information about the ACT Residual Test offered at AHU.

Note: AdventHealth University (AHU) is a Residual Testing Center for the ACT.  This means that if you take the ACT at AHU, your scores are only valid at AHU and not at any other institution.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are some good test prep resources that can help me as I prepare to take the ACT?  Please refer to the links below for resources:
  • Where do I go and what do I do on the day of my test?  As soon as you've registered for a testing date at AdventHealth University, you'll receive an email notification with details on where to go and what to do on the day of your test.
  • After taking the test, when do I get my results and do I need to send my results to my enrollment counselor / academic advisor? Scores will be available within 1-2 business days.  You'll receive a copy of your results by e-mail.  You won't need to do anything on your part.  The AHU testing staff will ensure that your official scores are sent to Admissions.  Contact your Enrollment Counselor or Academic Advisor for any questions regarding your ACT score requirements for admission.
