No one likes having to sign in and out of lots of different email accounts. Fortunately, there are plenty of options to get all your mail in one place! Once you are able to access your university email, choose the options that work best for you:
- Download the Outlook mobile app
- This is the simplest method - just download the app, sign in, and you'll get your AHU email on your device!
- Sync your university email to your phone or tablet
- This method allows you to get email directly from your school account and reply to it from the same address.
- Go here for instructions specific to your device. Just find the type of device you're using and click the email account set up link next to it.
- Set up your personal email account to pull mail from your university account
- Many email services allow you to pull in mail from other accounts and reply as that account. Here are instructions for some of the most common mail providers:
- Gmail Check mail from other accounts | Send mail as another account
- Yahoo Use another email account
- Hotmail/Outlook.com Add a send-and-receive account
- Many email services allow you to pull in mail from other accounts and reply as that account. Here are instructions for some of the most common mail providers:
- Forward your school emails to your personal account (not recommended)
- We don't recommend this method because you will not be able to reply to emails from the same address as they were sent to. Also, there is a higher chance that you will miss emails because they may be marked as spam.
- Follow the directions here if you need to set up forwarding.
