Scope:
All employees, students and contracted workers of AdventHealth University (AHU).
Purpose:
The purpose of this procedure is to support the terms of the policy on fundraising activities at AHU or on behalf of AHU and to provide a streamlined guidance to follow when conducting fundraising activities.
Procedures:
The process to engage in fundraising activities is as follows:
- Complete the Fundraiser Request Form online 30 days in advance of the event.
- Additional information needed, approval, or denial status will be returned within five (5) business days.
- Event occurs.
- Within five (5) business days after the event, complete, and submit the following to the Director of Community and Student Engagement:
- Fundraiser Outcomes Report Form
- Revenue generated from the event
Definition(s):
Community Partner: Any entity that engages in a meaningful relationship with the University for the purpose of sharing resources, providing support and working toward common goals
Community Organization: Any formally assembled group who exist to serve members of the community.
Contract Workers: Anyone employed to do work for the University through a contract arrangement only; not given access at the same level as AHU employees.
