Drop Policy

It is the responsibility of the student to withdraw in writing to the Office of the Registrar prior to the deadline published in the Academic Catalog. The student must submit a completed drop form by the deadline. The assigned grade is determined by the date the student or faculty member notifies the office, not the last date of attendance. The last day to drop a course is determined by the week number in the session. Students may withdraw during the first week of the course without penalty. No record will appear on the permanent academic record.

Student Attendance Policy

  • Class attendance is required beginning with the first-class meeting.
  • Students who are not actively participating in an online class and/or do not submit the first assignment by the scheduled due date may be withdrawn by the instructor at the end of the first week.
